About Me

My name is Yvette McDonald and I am an IT veteran. During that time, I've seen a lot of transformations occur in IT. From structured to object-oriented, from Mainframe to Internet, it's all been fun and a wonder to watch. And I do not believe that our advancements over the past several years have been instigated by alien technology :-)

New methodologies and the move from a dark geeky profession to a polished (well...kinda) profession, not strictly dedicated to anit-social geeks.

I've had the pleasure of working with some wonderful people and some great companies, as a consultant. All in all, work is what you make of it. You may not like everyone you work with, but if you love what you do everything will balance itself out.
